As the rain pours down outside the window it seems appropriate to mention Isabella's Garden by Glenda Millard and first time illustrator, WA artist Rebecca Cool.
It is a re-working of the well-known nursery rhyme The House that Jack Built which is used as a structure for a tale about the enduring cycle of the seasons as reflected in the garden; a garden that Isabella digs and plants. Highly recommended.
